Insurance Programs
- Comprehensive
General Liability
Currently we have a $2,000,000 General Liability policy with no
aggregate limitations. This policy includes all defined participants as
additional insured and extends itself, not only to spectators at a game
or practice, but including participant legal liability for both adults
and minors. The policy requires 100% participation of all members.
- Excess Accident Insurance Policy
Currently we have a $5,000 Excess Accident contract whose main purpose
is to fill the gaps within someone's primary health care program. The
contract has a $400 deductible with a $5,000 maximum benefit payable.
This contract is limited in scope of coverage by design to appropriately
coordinate with private health care benefit, although it will make
payments in accordance to its schedule of benefits, if there is no
primary health insurance in force.
- Directors and Officers Liability
Currently there is a Directors and Officers master policy which covers
all state and national officers and directors for acts arising out of
their position. There is an optional program available for leagues to
participate in directors and officers liability. Please consult your
state office for details.
The above is only intended to be a general highlight
and overview of coverage and is not intended to replace or change in any
way the actual contracts. If any further details or questions are needed,
please consult your state association office.
